Ridden Lessons
Ridden lessons on your own horse.
In Enlightened Equitation we focus very much on correct rider position & learning to synchronise your movement with that of the horse & timing your aids so your horse has a clear understanding of the question being asked.
This will give your riding the firm foundation needed to develop a more secure seat & help you learn to refine the aids, add interest to your schooling sessions & progress up the levels with more advanced movements.
All ages, levels & abilities welcome.

Long Reining Lessons
Learn the practical & beautiful art of long reining, from basics through to more advanced lateral work. Long Reining improves the horse's balance & suppleness whilst advancing their training. Also great for educating your children's ponies, creating a safer mount for your little jockeys.

In-Hand Lessons
Compliment your ridden work with in-hand training, from basics through to advanced work. Learn techniques to improve your horse's self carriage and build a closer bond with your horse. In-hand work is beneficial for all horses, & is ideal for those that are semi-retired or are coming back into work after injury etc. but cannot yet be ridden.

Schooling
Let me advance your horse's training so you can enjoy the benefits of riding a schoolmaster. This can be through a combination of classical ridden,
long reining or in-hand work.

Yard Visits
Why not get a group of friends together at your own yard for a day of fun & learning?
Your day can be tailor made to include ridden, in-hand or long reining lessons.
Dismounted workshops can also be included.
Minimum of four students.

Saddle Fitting
Correct saddle balance & fit are extremely important not only for your horse's comfort - enabling him to perform the tasks you ask of him, but also ensuring your own comfort & security.
I am a fully qualified HM Saddle Fitter with many years of experience of riding, teaching & fitting Heather Moffett saddles.

Travel & Cancellation Fees
A Travel Fee of 45p/mile applies for journeys over 15 miles.
In the unfortunate event that you should have to cancel your lesson, please try & give at least 24hrs notice. This allows me to offer your slot to another client. Unless you have an emergency, there will be a cancellation fee to cover my losses where less than 12hrs notice is given.
